JetBrains/PHPStorm IDE supports multiple different Database inspectors as plugins. Open the database inspector window in PHPStorm The tunnel is now open, make a note of the connection details it displays. Otherwise the tool will ask you to select the service. ![]() If you have a simple project with only one database service, this is all that is needed to open the connection. The project should have been download using the platform get, which means that the project ID and branch will be automatically detected. Open the tunnelĬhange into your local checkout of the project. You then point your IDE or database at that port locally, and it interacts as if it was connected directly to the DB server. We use the Platform.sh CLI tool to open a tunnel to the site instance, connecting the database port on the database container to a local port on the local machine, over ssh. This can be useful to investigate issues, make direct schema changes or SQL commands, or import/export the database directly from the workspace you are most comfortable in, if the direct SQL CLI access is not sufficient. This example is done on OSX, but the equivalent tools are available on Windows and Linux. This also works with the official MySQL Workbench The JetBrains PHPStorm IDE (for this example - most IDEs with integrated database inspectors can probably be configured in the same way).An active project and branch with a MariaDB(MySQL) database.Platform.sh CLI tool working on your local environment.See also how-to-connect-mongodb-tunnel-with-robo-3t Assumptions Type "Rector" or "PHPStan" and hit enter:ĭo you learn from my contents or use open-souce packages like Rector every day?Ĭonsider supporting it on GitHub Sponsors. To directly access your hosted database(s) from your workstation IDE. Pick the directory you want to process in the file tree. Arguments: process $FilePathRelativeToProjectRoot$.Program: $ProjectFileDir$/vendor/bin/rector.How to Configure External Tool in PHPStorm? So if we work with security, we ~~only~~ mostly work in that directory. What does it mean? That our code that handles security is not all over the place in /src directory but in standalone packages/Security directory. This approach requires us to keep a decoupled structure, e.g., with to local packages or domain-driven design. You run the tool only on a selected directory in the left tree. The bigger your codebase, the more it might help you get under 3 seconds. It might trim off some more frustration in your daily work and turn you into a flow developer as a result. Last week Honza showed me PHPStorm tip that fits into instant feedback loop flow I discovered recently. It destroys their focus on the features.įrustration is always the sign we should ask this question: It takes too long to get feedback from them. When I talk with developers, this is one of the main reasons they don't use such tools. ![]() Instant flow killer :( Too Slow? Go Home! I used this approach at big codebases so far.Īnother way is to copy the directory path and run tool only on it: vendor/bin/phpstan analyse src/SomeDirectory vendor/bin/rector process src/SomeDirectory ![]() After all, it's often much faster than our local laptop. We might adapt and push it into the remote repository and let the CI server handle it. Now, we want to run Rector and PHPStan to make sure the code is clean and working. We add a new feature, change test, fix a bug, 300 added lines, 200 removed. But let's take Rector as the baseline, as that's the project we have data for. ![]() Projects I consult lately usually fit into 200-600 000 lines of code, though. Let's say we have a reasonably big codebase, like Rector, with over 70 000 lines of code.

![]() After two hours and like 50 avatars on the sim both host and dj went home without a penny. Guess what, that doesn’t make people more inclined to tip, it just makes staff’s job harder. I think they have that stupid crosstipping policy that’s so rampant nowadays in SL clubs, where your colleagues have to tip your jar a fixed amount and then you have to pay it back to them, but the amount still shows on your jar. I mean I know it happens when a club is busy, but two different people at two different times doesn’t seem ok to me. I went twice, two different time slots to see if they have a good crowd and what was going on. Many don’t have that kind of patience, just saying, and staff pays the price for that since they don’t even know where they are located to tip them. Well, the layout is quite confusing, you land in one place but they have like three stages and you have to wait, rez everything around you and take a teleporter, hoping you clicked the right destination. I decided to visit this club and eventually apply for a position. Not just that which causes lagg but also the use of too many textures on meshes too that are large in size plus scripts. So the decision on what they wear is up to them.Ĥ3, yes some people just go mad with the subdivision modifier when using blender to make things and they don’t think to make things simple and overdo things. Telling someone to choose a race already is quite racist because it is up to that person to decide on what skin they want to put on in Sl as it is their avatar and not yours. Like I have had pink skin and green skin on at times. So majority if not all should be normal people.ģ3, Everyone has a choice in how they want to look just like you’ll get some people even choosing to put on fantasy colored skins. I’ve not known any alts as of yet to be camping at club boom boom and with lindo if any alts are spotted they will be banned from the lindo game that goes off at the club. From what I know a lot of people do go there to play lindo like myself too. I’ve been there a few times and I often enjoy the music that is on and always enjoy the people who Dj there. I rather just not have to deal with them anymore.ġ2, I don’t know why Club Boom Boom gets so much hate to be honest. They probably are not as bad anymore.” … What the actual fuck? Like, literally there was a vendor in SL that was losing business, and now they be getting business again because “Oh this user was in a car crash. And don’t get me started because Pounce is a whole ‘nother can of worms.), or whatever, people will ignore it because, let’s be honest. Despite Pounce belonging to Leo, someone literally messed with his heart to the point people left the club or he fired every staff member and let it risk to die. Wether it is scammers, or a red flag, or literally users playing with people’s heart for decision making (Look at Club Pounce. ![]() I mean look at many of the problems SL’s community has these days. The problem is, the ones that are brave enough to call them out usually ends up backfiring and hurt by those who defend the bad ones to the point, they are afraid to speak up. The cost of these abilities ranges from $8,000 to $350,000.People care. There are eight of them that you can buy with money that you earn from surviving each wave. ![]() There are abilities that you can buy to help you protect the blender. I’m not going to pretend that I understand why they do that. ![]() They also use jetpacks to fly up to the blender and spray milk at it. I don’t know what these cows have against kitchen appliances, but they’re mad. Either way, they both go into the blender. Some of them are armed, and some of them are peacefully protesting. What sort of enemies are trying to take down this huge blender? Well, there are stick people. The enemy comes in waves, and you beat each one by completely filling the blender. The blender fills up with blood for every enemy that you toss in. In fact, death by puree is the preferred method in this game. Instead of just throwing the stick people up into the air and letting gravity take care of them, you can fling them into the blender. This blender isn’t exactly an innocent bystander in all this chaos. ![]() However, Ferrari one-ups its rival when it comes to complimentary scheduled maintenance with Ferrari vehicles, you get seven years of coverage. ![]() While Dogmeat is technically a companion, the benefits of Lone Wanderer still apply if the Sole Survivor adventures with Dogmeat. If not able to reach a container he found, he will still point his head towards the direction of what he found, giving the player character a hint on chests, trunks and other containers with valuable loot usually placed in the top of buildings.Upon detecting containers or enemies, no matter if told to or otherwise, Dogmeat will react accordingly: he growls if an enemy is detected and keeps doing so while he tracks them, or, when he finds a container, gives the player character a warning bark, runs towards it, and then happily stomps his front paws, while pointing his head to whatever he has found. When traveling with Dogmeat, he may occasionally detect enemies and containers on his own without being asked to do so by the Sole Survivor, which prompts the player character with messages such as "Dogmeat found something," when he finds a container or "Dogmeat found an enemy," when he detects enemy presence nearby. One of these hats can apparently be the lieutenant's hat or Captain Ironsides' hat. If told to fetch an item near Custom House Tower, he will run to a rubble pile near some existing mannequins in the display windows and pull out random hats. Upon finding something, Dogmeat will either stand in front of the item (if on the floor), bite the enemy (triggers enemy detection) or pull out the items from the container.
